Saturday, February 19, 2011 Currently Playing: A Whiter Shade of Pale Procol Harum   Jo has left for Adelaide on Thursday. Somehow, I don't feel as sad as I thought I would be. Mark often reminds me that it's for the better, and I know it's true. But it broke my heart when I saw Jerica fighting back tears when Jo said her goodbyes, and finally let her tears go when Jo walked through the departure gate. Vicki even suggested moving in with us so that she could be with Jerica when I leave for Sweden. Had a long week with SPH internship interview, lit response paper and a whole lot of other stuff. As I'm typing this, I have readings, a news article for Chronicle and course matching for exchange at the back of my head. Just as I thought I was done with a hectic week in school, I have a hectic weekend to prepare for. Speaking of exchange, I finally understand what Ivan meant when he said he deserved two AUs for doing exchange stuff. The application process is a pain. Thank God the Swedes exchange students from our Creative Strategies class are from Jönköping Comms School, so M and I could ask them for help. One of the guys, Teodor, even promised us that he would "hook [us] up with some cool people there". Heh glad that they're a friendly bunch of people. I went shopping for winter clothes at Vivo with M on Tuesday. We had to get them now because it's winter sales. I got a beige leather jacket from Zara and a black leather jacket with a fur hood from Esprit. (And a black trench coat from a Miss Sixty outlet in Hong Kong.) M got himself a navy blue sweater from Pull & Bear and a black leather jacket from Esprit. We probably have to get a down fur jacket each and we're good to go. Caught 'Black Swan' after shopping and it was breathtaking! I thought it was the best movie since Titanic. Heehee.
