Saturday, April 26, 2008 Currently Playing: New Soul Yael Naim And so the week ends. I've been fervently looking forward to training for the entire week. Something seems out of sorts with me lately. Something just isn't clicking in the grand scheme of things but I can't put my finger on exactly what it is. Funny how life works, sometimes. This song came in timely enough. Friday, April 18, 2008  A healthy life is a happy life. I should clean up my act so that my lifestyle reflects the noble goals that I hold, however unattainable they seem. "Food is my greatest nemesis," said Crystal. As much as I hate to admit it, it is for me too. I'm getting too fat. That is possibly the reason why I often feel nuked after a few bouts of fencing. And with Coach going "Jia You!" when he overheard Esther and I talk about losing weight, it doesn't help very much either. Sigh thinking about that, I'm depressed already. Now where's my food?

 Currently Playing:Stop and Stare One Republic I had a pretty eventful week thus far, though not in a v positive way. Ok I didn't do too shabbily for nat'l trials, but inter-schools was beyond terrible. Met zhaohui in the quarter finals and my mind became clouded by anxiety after she scored a few points off me. Plus the foil/epee referee who presided our sabre match didn't help very much. Oh well it just helped me to realise two things: I need to work on both my sense of distance and competition mentality. Fencing aside, school hasn't been too kind towards me either. I failed Geog by 1 mark and that is DODGY!!! It puts me at risk of having my Dad being called up by Mr Lim, and I really don't want that. Let's hope Mr Lim is sympathetic enough to skip my name and gimme one more chance for mid years. Sigh. Life sucks, then you die.
