Thursday, July 31, 2008 Currently Playing: She Is Clazziquai Whew, I'm finally able to take a breather. Yet another feverish week. I was just telling SQ two days ago how we tell ourselves each week that the following week is gonna be better..but as we all know, this is never the case. Oh well, c'est la vie! Meant to blog about the NEFMQ last week but never got 'round to doing so. SQ has already dedicated an entry to it..saves me the effort! Alrite I'm gonna work on Math now. Take care everyone.

Thursday, July 24, 2008 Currently Playing: Novabossa Clazziquai And so the week is almost over. It's been fairly hectic..necessitating a coupla evenings of 'night study' in a desperate attempt to study for the econs lecture test, finish up some lit stuff and of course many other pieces of work. Sigh my life basically revolves around school now. Can't help feeling a terrible sense of ennui. I really miss fencing. Oh well hopefully the NUS financial quiz on Saturday would be at the least inspiring. It's probably one of the few things left currently that I'd actually enjoy doing. Tsk how tragic.
Wednesday, July 16, 2008 Currently Playing: Mercy Duffy Blogging from Mum's. Met up with Esther and Yong Lin for dinner at sushi tei last nite. Simple and enjoyable. Those two are damn good amusement! Ugh still gotta go down to NTU later..the mere thought of it is tiring me out already.

Currently Playing: You Never Know Clazziquai In the midst of FSI and it has been both physically and emotionally exhausting..facing failure after failure despite all that effort that had been put in. Had a strong urge to give everything up completely for a few times but I didn't want to go away feeling regretful at the end of it. Afterall don't they say that in the midst of a storm, there's always something more? Ah so much happened over the last coupla days and I can't help feeling a sense of ambivalence towards everything in general.

Monday, July 07, 2008 Currently Playing: Forever Young Youth Group I'm two chapters away from completing Mitch Albom's For One More Day. Noticed how some intellectual snobs cringed at the sight of the book cover at the library, but given my experience with Tuesdays with Morrie, though I don't encourage the act, I suppose I could empathise. For One More Day is a very sweet book however..Mic, I think u might like it. :-) Finally got my brows done today. Still hurt pretty badly this time but it's said to get gradually better. Hopefully so! Shucks it's back to school again tomorrow. I've decided that idle breaks beat having to deal with the A-level exams any day..

Friday, July 04, 2008 Currently Playing: Today, Tonight Dishwalla Fancy me blogging at this hour! I share ethel's sentiments. Though the much-awaited break after MYE is here, I have barely anything to do! Ok, perhaps it's just me and my lonesome self..but thank goodness the weekend's here. Watched Gattaca yesterday and it's quite an elegant film. Definitely something which I would watch over and over again. Not to mention that Jude Law looks incredibly hot in it.  Hope your break has been better than mine. ...and happy 4th of july! sorry couldn't resist it.
