Tuesday, January 20, 2009 Currently Playing: Fields of Gold Emi Fujita Work's officially ending on the 30th but i'm already knackered. The last week down at CSC was fun so we weren't exactly complaining about being tired despite having to stay till 10pm almost every night, and reporting back at 8am the following day. This week's turning out to be quite horrid. It's back to checking through mountains of reports with nuthing to look forward to each day..except perhaps holding on to the bit of hope that we wouldn't have to work OT. Sigh I need to get my nails and brows done soon. Got to rest on Sunday and Jerica bugged me the whole afternoon. She has the habit of checking up on everybody. "What are you doing today? Ok, you don't have to tell me. I can already imagine. You don't do a lot of things. First you use the computer, then take a shower. After that you'll sleep, wake up to eat, read and go back to sleep. Right?" - Jerica That's not entirely true..I went out with Crystal and Claire to catch The Duchess, which is quite a nice show except that we haven't figured what the point of the movie was. Ok, gotta get ready for work again :-(
Sunday, January 11, 2009 Currently Playing: Ordinary People John Legend The first break from work in nine days. Next week's gonna be insane but oh well, beats having to go through reports of Mount Everest proportion, to quote Crystal. Met up with two of my favourite guy friends over the last two days, WW and Timon. Had dinner with WW last nite and he was entertaining as always. We're going shopping next weekend before he leaves for Korea. Caught Seven Pounds with Timon today. Had intended to watch Red Cliff 2 but the tickets were out EVERYWHERE. The show's interesting enough though not as fantastic as I'd thought it to be. I'm supposed to take Jerica out to catch the Ponyo movie this week. Hmm perhaps tomorrow we shall see... Alrite am going to catch up on sleep. G'nite!
Friday, January 02, 2009 Currently Playing: Wonderwall Oasis I can see why this is one of Claire's all-time favourite songs. The Goodfellas at Timbre did a pretty good rendition of it as well. Had dinner on Boxing Day with Crystal, Claire, Ethel and Lissa. It was fun, as always. Tks for the pictures, Claire!               
Esther flew off to UK this afternoon..she got admitted into Concord College and would prolly only return during term breaks. Cannot imagine what fencing and training would be like without u! Anyway, it's two days into 2009 already. 2008 had been a pretty momentous 12 months by all accounts. With the looming recession and what not. There was also the MAJOR A-levels which all 12 years of my education depended on. Sigh I get anxious just thinking about it. Well I had a really awesome year and I'm thankful for the people who made it so :-) Hope u enjoyed ur New Year!
