Sunday, June 15, 2008 Currently Playing: He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother Hollies Cheers to the best weekend in a long time! Spent friday and saturday at Juniors' C'ships and it was quite an experience. our team was overall 4th..not that great a deal, but i really rarely fence team events. thks sharm and steffi! Thought i might do some studying today but ended up cabbing to esther's place for poker with samson, weiwen and zhihua. played poker and lotsa other stuff which were damn good amusement..though such humiliating stuff should be kept a secret. or well, not here at least. heh i had lotsa fun hanging out with those people. Cabbed back with weiwen and that poor boy had such an urge to retch after everything, it was painful just watching him. hahah hope u're better soon! Before i end off..happy fathers' day daddy! u never run out of ways to be a wonderful father..i hope i'd never run out of ways to say thank you too.

Monday, June 09, 2008 Currently Playing: Jenny Wren Paul McCartney I had finally summoned enough courage to make my way down to clementi for training in the evening. It was quite intimidating initially but gradually got 'bit better. I'm even considering going down regularly.. but heh we'll see. The soles of my feet hurt. That is slightly unusual for me, but it goes well with the rest of my body. Which hurts too. Pain's such an old friend. Haven't been much productive lately, and I'm beginning to get v distracted by training, competitions and what not. Can't imagine having to sit through hours studying for physical geog tomorrow.

Saturday, June 07, 2008 Currently Playing: Hit The Road Jack Ray Charles Headed down to NUS with Ethel and SQ on Friday for the MoneySENSE talk in preparation for the econs/financial quiz. Very informative but I thought it wasn't in direct relevance to our, or at least my, current situation. Perhaps I'll grow to appreciate such talks later in life. Anyway I had never been involved in such competitions so this was indeed an eye-opener. Training at nite with Min, and Esther. Fun to be training with familiar people after sucha long while! Informed Z that I'd be withdrawing from their classes after June. So hard to be stopping something that I'm so fervidly in love with.. I hope someone would reassure me that this arrangement is all for the better. Nat'l Indivs today didn't go TOO badly.. I managed to "smoke my way" into tableau of 8. Hmm I haven't done much work these days. Better get cracking asap.

Tuesday, June 03, 2008 Currently Playing: She Is The Fray Everything in my life seems to be heading south. I'm thinking it's the examination blues.. as always. The thought of sitting for MYE in about 3 weeks is vexatious enough. Not to mention A levels which will begin in about a hundred-odd days.
