Thursday, September 27, 2007 esther and i got an email from fencingsingapore regarding taipei open 2007. its taking place from 11th nov to 15th nov, which is well after oral presentation for pw? anyway they said sea games fencers have first priority and the remaining national fencers will have second priority. such a good experience, so esther and i were discussing about going for it. plus it should reflect pretty well on our testimonials right? but you see, my sis and i take turns on going overseas every year. since i went to thailand for mission trip last year, this year's her turn. hence im guessing my dad will be quite reluctant if i were to ask him to pay for my trip this year. so i prayed to God to provide for my trip if He wants me to go. and my mum just called a while ago saying that she won a playstation 3 and some travelling vouchers from her company dinner last night and that she wants to give it to me without me telling her about taipei yet! woah i was so shocked i didn't know what to say. but you bet im so amazed by what God did. really really amazed! thank You, Lord!

David: oh to poke it? eh lam, you are like how ditzy la. i've acquired a new obsession with memorising notes. its cool to test your brain's capability when you realised you haven't been using it for awhile (sorry to disappoint, but this is not exactly directed at me heh okay kidding. i said kidding!). but that doesnt mean i'm really studying. understanding what i've memorised is a different thing altogether, unfortunately. it'll be horrible if i were to experience a blankout during the exams. especially for physical geog wah die. many many things to do after promos. like xiaolongbaos at dingtaifung with the ditzies and blah blah. maybe i'll start making a list of the things i wanna do after promos to motivate me to study. go, jasmine. go, ethel. go, crystal. we is to gets promoted togetherszxzx. claire, minyi and shiwan too! we'll drive the dinosaur crazeeyyyyy muahahahaha.

Wednesday, September 12, 2007 ooh on a lighter note, big fat gloves, bases, strikes and funny mask no more. our softball's module's over (eh but we didn't complete our seventh inning did we?) and our module's touch rug this time 'round. mr kwok taught us all some techniques today, practised passing + spinning and then played the game. it was pretty good. crystal we saw a frog in the field. oh btw please please come back soon ethel and i missed you very much. get welllllll!
I haven't felt this depressed for a long time and i never thought i would. especially if its over school work. i'm not stressed about studies, but rather about not meeting datelines. so many datelines, so little time. thank you so much lit group for putting in all that effort you possibly could to make our presentation work. it's not easy coming up with a whole new set of main ideas and working on them in simply two nights but you guys did it. all with the exception of one thank you very much. and you, guy, really cause me to feel like shit. ah forget that. anyway im sorry all that past 10 weeks of work's gone down the drain. look on the bright side. we've gotten something out of this whole group presentation thing haven't we? teamwork, cooperation blah blah. not to mention that we've read up on so many greek myths which i'd probably never have done on my own. thank you hariz, jasmine and elaine. you guys have been a great help. okay im feeling better after all that. this group presentation isn't like what i thought yesterday afterall - a whole load of work with nothing good to it. i wouldn't have realised what truly amazing people im working with if not for this. well, "count your blessings". how true.

Wednesday, September 05, 2007  Currently Playing:Tired And Uninspired My American Heart Ms teo called esther and i to do a fencing demo for z at parkway atrium today. two time slots at 5pm and 8pm. i think z's doing a promotional exhibition today. oh well it'll be fun. :> being with esther is always fun really. I've yet to begin any hardcore mugging for promos y'know. and its getting really worrying. i can't do anything without a peace of mind. hm, i really should begin tonight since vicki is staying over and we've made plans to study together. A long time since i've done this.. but a shoutout to crystal and ethel. i is loves you twos berry much. studies hard okay we is to gets promoted togethers. go ditzies! and of course mic! as kiddish as it sounds, thank you for being my bestest bestest friend. <3 i cannot imagine what i would be without you all these years. don't get too stressed okay im sure you'll be promoted. confirm plus guarantee chop!
Sunday, September 02, 2007  Currently Playing:This Side Nickel Creek My sunday's great! esther's dad drove the two of us into swiss club for gala in the morning. we passed the coaches cards, chocs and cookies and minmin laughed when he saw our card for him. really nice. anyway esther was ranked first after the poules and i hope she's gala champion! cabbed back to cck to meet crystal, claire, shiwan, sq and nicholas in the afternoon before going to the zoo. we had a good time looking at animals despite the slight rain, and we were really quite intrigued by the baboons' butts. pictures are in claire's/shiwan's/nicholas' cameras. oh well you can never imagine a group of 17-year-olds having fun at the zoo. we did! came back, sq went to meet the boys to play lan, shiwan went home. claire and crystal came over to play badminton at the tennis court with nic and daryl (shrek) while i bladed. so and here i am, stinky and ever sleepy. anyway, randomness: "its lonely where you are so come back down" and i dont know exactly what to feel.
