I went for training at parkway yesterday and min zhao lian waited for me to be done with free-fencing before we left together. the journey home took almost 2 hours and we had a very long talk. i love coach really much!

Arts classes are like boyfriends; can have a lot of fun, enjoy... but, cannot get married." -Miss Kat How true. at this point of our lives, i don't reckon we're thinking about marriage soon so why bother. We ended the final school term on a rather good note today. i'm not blogging into details cos it won't do justice to all the fun we had.
Thursday, October 25, 2007  Currently Playing:Hold On KT Tunstall School was pretty good today. pw session was one of the most productive sessions in the entire year. lessons end at 1.30 so crystal aka tennis queen, claire, shiwan, minnie, shimin, shuqun and david stayed back to play tennis. very very fun okay! we had the courts to ourselves and tennis queen with her power serve, and powerful tennis arms and legs amused us with her crazy antics. Last day of school tomorrow and we've organized a mini party during ct, and invite our subject tutors to join. i'll miss the original 07A01 very much.
Wednesday, October 24, 2007  Currently Playing:New Shoes Paolo Nutini Just got back from training. not very productive cos there were like 9 people there today. but coach was nice as usual. anyway i had dinner with vicki at dome after it and the smoked salmon tortilla's divine! dad fetched the both of us home after that. I'll be done with chinese after monday. we had the very last chinese lesson of our lives today and i'm feeling a sort of ambivalence. i had struggled to be rid of chinese since like forever but now i think i'll miss chinese. not the thousands of essays or the millions of comprehension we've been doing, but more like the slack lessons where we just listened to stories after stories and copy whatever's on the screen. and play with rubber seeds. On another note, i just saw mr sas dancing on tv!

Saturday, October 20, 2007  Currently Playing:4 In The Morning Gwen Stefani Don't mind me i'm in the mood for such songs. Met esther in the morning to make payment at clementi and we went for lunch at delifrance before she came over to my place to change. went back to clementi 2 hours before our event and we spent the time cracking jokes. Nat Trials 3 was good, namely cos i lifted everything to God. i prayed before each bout during the poules and He helped me through i am so serious. He took away my anxieties and brought to my remembrance certain things min zhao lian taught. anyway i got third, but that aside, i had an experience beyond description. I couldn't stop marvelling at what my God had done.
Friday, October 19, 2007 Hello i can't stand my previous layout hence the change. Ethel and i met crystal at IMM after school to complete our runway model. we did almost everything from white vanguard okay no joke. Mr lim told the class that we've got about 75% of people from my class promoting before moderation, which is the highest as compared to the other arts classes. that piece of news was slightly comforting till i realised that we'll have about 8 people retaining from A01. ohmygosh i'm positive i'll be one of the 8. Even jerica thinks so. Me: jerica how i'll get retained leh. Jerica: yeah, i think you will be one of the 8. i mean i cheer for no, but i think YES. and she grinned. I promise she said that seriously. and she's primary 2 for goodness' sake. Anyway, nat trials 3 tomorrow. i don't mind getting kicked out before direct eliminations.. AS LONG AS I GET PROMOTED.
Thursday, October 18, 2007 we're checking promos scripts next tuesday and i'm dead worried. miss kat said that 1 out of 4 people didn't pass econs. man, if i don't pass econs, i'm seriously DEAD. oh btw she's leaving pj for aj how sad. she's the reason why i want to major in economics/banking in future.
Tuesday, October 16, 2007 i finally got a break without having to worry about project work. we're done with the first run of oral presentation and it didn't go too badly. i'm glad we got coach jay as our facilitator. met esther at balmoral to free-fence after school cos rg training's cancelled. nelicia and charlene came over too. esther and i decided to go for a run after fencing and we jogged 'round the estate a few times. yes, i feel healthier ethel darling. xD anyway ms teo agreed to let esther take her lessons on the next couple of wednesdays after much persuasion wooh lonely wednesdays no more! omt i just realised nat trials 3 is on this saturday and i'm not the least prepared for it. like, my suit is not even washed.

Thursday, October 11, 2007 ethel crystal and i took a bus down to town and we had lunch at din tai fung. we bought a packet of strawberry marshmallows each from muji @ paragon after that and they're the best marshmallows i swear. soft and fluffy and sweet. oh well i really had fun with the two. i've been wanting to watch 'i am sam' for the longest time but the dvds are always on loan at laser flair. ugh.
Wednesday, October 10, 2007  Currently Playing:The Way You Look Tonight Michael Buble this is such a sweet sweet song. training today has left me pretty much drained. my arm-muscles have been hurting since the previous training and my blade movements today were quite stiff. and i wore new shoes for training which gave me two huge blisters on my ankles. nevertheless i enjoyed training. every single session with coach min these days means so much to me cos they're way more productive than before. i love minmin so much he's just like a dad to me. today he was just telling me how much i remind him of his daughter tania. like a kid yada blah but really, i'm not. anyway. never thought i'd say this but i love fencing. cheesy but oh-so-true. not gonna do my final i&r tonight im dead beat. hence pardon my incoherence.
Tuesday, October 09, 2007  Currently Playing:Brighter Than Sunshine Aqualung ethel and crystal both got me started on online shopping! today's the first time i actually deposited money into my dbs account. for years my mum only taught me how to withdraw money from my account but not deposit. i actually thought that i had to go to the bank to deposit money but hoho thanks to crystal who taught me how to deposit money from the atm machine and it's very fun. i'm gon' start depositing money every week and start saving! jerica came home with 'water babies' and they look just like contact lenses. one's yellow, the other's purple. you have to put them in the water and after a few days they'll grow to become something. so cute. we had social etiquette course today and it was really interesting. i love crystal tan and ethel choy.
Sunday, October 07, 2007  Currently Playing:Fly Me To The Moon Frank Sinatra hello i had a great day and i hope you had too. it's dad's birthday today and it's really hard to shop for gifts for my dad cos he quote wants nothing unquote. so i made something for him which looks a bit retarded since it's the first time im making one. i built a model of his car, entirely from pieces of wood, painted it and scribbled a birthday message at the side.  okay, so it looks nothing like his car but at the very least it's white.i feel accomplished no matter how silly it looks hoho.

Thursday, October 04, 2007  Currently Playing:Strange And Beautiful Aqualung i had the worst dream last night. i dreamt that a cat jumped out of the bin and pounced on my arm. my goodness i got so hysterical i tried to shake it off by flinging my arm about like a mad woman but to no avail. so i had to use my other free hand to pull that thing away from my arm by touching its body yucksyucksyucks. the fur's so short and it felt so close to touching its bare body i screamed and jumped out of bed. LITERALLY. i never knew that was possible till last night my goodness. it was so horrible it was so horrible. "Cats are sometimes associated with bad omens, superstition, or black magic. It used to be common to interpret dreams of cats as indicators of bad omens." not that i believe in any of that, but it just adds to reasons why i hate cats. i cannot stand even looking at pictures of cats. note: sorry to any cat lovers it's just me okay. some of your cats may be very nice i don't know. for one, i think minyi's lulu sounds quite adorable. so no offence meant.
 Currently Playing:Hands Down Dashboard Confessional it's been some time since i last made a blog layout. nothing fancy though. training was definitely productive today since there were only nathaniel and i and we took turns to have private training for the full one and a half hours. coach emphasized a lot on speed and observation today and he taught me a new beat-attack. perspired a lot and we hardly had rest so it's good. beats sitting around waiting for my turn. ah i love min jiao lian. he's the best coach ever i swear. i'd better start exercising now that promos are over. its so scary to know how much weight i've put on since last year. really, im like a balloon now. except that a balloon is light and i'm far from that. oh well. on another note, i had a short conversation with ------ today. mainly about his A's and my promos, nothing else. sometimes i do wonder if i'm really over him totally. afterall it has been almost a year already. hmm, i think so?
