Thursday, March 04, 2010 Currently Playing: What the World Needs Now Stacey Kent ![]() ![]() ![]() Love love LOVE the polaroid app on my phone! I finally told Coach Min that I'd be retiring from fencing for good. It's been a good 8-years, but I guess it's time to move on. Age is really catching up with me. My last competitions will be the Fencing Singapore Challenge (FSC) in late March and National Trials I in late April. BTW why is fencing not listed under NTU's ECA records? Speaking of which, where's the Selangor Open that they promised? Sheesh. Anyway, since I'd no longer be fencing after April, I have to find something else to do; something less financially burdensome. In order to stay healthy after I stop fencing, Mark and I decided to do a test-run (literally) last night. We ran for about 4km after my training, which is a pretty decent first try. Let's see if we can keep this up. Jo and Vicki are collecting their results tomorrow. I'm praying for good news from both of them. Good luck to Shi Min and Nad too! Dad is returning from Hokkaido tonight.
