Four hours to my reporting time for Junior Trials and here I am, refusing to get off the computer. And I'm supposed to meet Esther for brunch at 11.

Felicia, Syahirah and myself decided to go down to STPI for the Plath-paintings exhibition. We braved the rain and the foul-smelling river at Clarke Quay and finally found the place. The paintings are so abstract and most of the poems the artist made used of are not from Ariel. We only managed to identity 'Getting There', 'Elm' and something else which I can't recall. The paintings are all lovely... alas the three of us don't understand Art very much. But after browsing through a book which explains some of the paintings, we realised that many of the overarching themes in Ariel can actually be identified from the works.

And being Literature students, we analysed almost every single line of words we saw that explains the paintings. I'd say it's quite a worthy trip.

Oh btw for those who are keen on going, I saw that the exhibition's only on from 12 Jan to 2 Feb. So it ends today, not tomorrow. But then again, I can't be sure, since Ms Zal said it's till 6pm on Sunday. Be sure to check if you're going down!

Anyways.

I'm in absolutely no mood to fence Junior Trials today actually. To think I actually forgot about it till Esther reminded me on Wednesday... and Coach Min had forgotten about it.. and I forgot about it AGAIN till yesterday morning.

Terrible, right?

I'm sure my results later will be that too.
