Sunday, December 09, 2007  Currently Playing:I Am For You Waking Ashland I had a rather pleasant day, despite waking up with a terrible sore throat. Went for training and min paired us up for partner training. i got paired up with coach yl and it's one of the most productive training i've had in a while. my arm was aching so badly from all that parry riposte exercises and yl moved soooo fast i couldn't catch my breath after five minutes of doing parry riposte with footwork and lunges up and down the piste non-stop. i swear it's super tiring; worse than running. Free fenced immediately after training and it was again a non-stop thing. fenced 3 consecutive 15-points bouts with janelle, kai and an indian boy (forgot his name), before ending with a 5-points bout with jolin. so exhausting i must be getting old.. Met crystal after training to go to nick's place. i've never been a fan of steamboat but i have to admit that the steamboat was very good. well-organised, cosy environment and great company. like ethel's bbq! My maid's leaving for two weeks. dad's been making us learn how to do the household chores for the last few days. my role's to learn to operate the washing machine. shouldn't be too tough, right? Two weeks seem like an awfully long time but it's okay, we'll manage. not a bad idea to feel like cinderella once in a while.. So i suppose you now know why both jolyn and jerica are feeling pretty enthusiastic about it.
