Thursday, August 09, 2007  Currently Playing:Risque Cute Is What We Aim For Hello everyone i know i ought to be studying now but.. Training yesterday was da bomb i swear! Coach min was hospitalized so coach yi long took over yesterday's class and he made us do crazy drills and it made my muscles ache. Only crystal understands how muscle aches are a good thing. ;) Did target training, and one-on-one with him and the whole training he emphasized on speed a lot. Every exercise we did, he kept going "kuai dian kuai dian kuai diannnn!!!!" Don't get me wrong, minmin was very insistent that we do precise and fast movements but he never was strict with the wed's class. Fenced with mark after. For the first time, i really got something out of this wed class. I still miss coach min though! Esther came over after training! We talked to sylvester and coach yi long, enquired about shoes prices and i think i'll be getting the black adidas one. It's not too costly as compared to the other pairs which can cost up to $400 a pair. This one's about $140 with GST which is quite reasonable for fencing shoes. Martin said we can get it cheaper at queensway but im not sure queensway carries adidas fencing shoes. oh well i'll take a look first. Anyway. mark came back to fence esther after he had dinner, till its time for Z to close. Sylvester gave mark, yi long and me a lift to raffles city and we took the train home. Hello steffi i finally met the new coach and he's very nice. I like yi long's training style but i still prefer min jiao lian as a coach. :> I don't ever want to stop fencing like i did, not till my body can't take it anymore. Looking back, the best time of my life was probably when i was fully focused on fencing. I made great fencer friends like joan, yiyao, cheryl, the 3 seniors, esther and mark especially, and the bp team really showed me what it's like to be in a team. Never mind if some people think its gayshit or whatsoever. it's such a graceful sport and i love it. Sorry for how cheesy it sounds. Wha-teh-ver!
